Alhamdullillah HSP Academy kembali menyelenggarakan training Apollo RCA Batch ke 6. Pada training Apollo RCA batch ke 6 ini dihadiri oleh 5 orang peserta dari PT Cirebon Power Service. Peserta berasal dari divisi yang berbeda beda yaitu HSE, Maintenance, Engineering dan Produksi. Training yang difasilitasi oleh certified trainer DR Alfajri Ismail, M.Si dilaksanakan selama dua hari di HSP Academy training center. Dalam training ini disamping membahas prinsip-prinsip Apollo RCA juga mengerjakan berbagai kasus dengan menggunakan software RealityCharting. Bahkan peserta juga mengerjakan real case dari lapangan. LATAR BELAKANG TRAINING APOLLO ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS

What is Apollo RCA™

The Apollo Root Cause Analysis™ – ARCA™ methodology was originally developed in the mid 1980’s by Dean L. Gano as a result of his inability to find an effective method for solving safety problems encountered in his position within the nuclear power industry. Practitioners learn the concepts of effective ARCA™ and incident analysis including establishing problem definition, problem significant and value, building a common reality chart for all stakeholders through the ARCA™ cause and effect charting process, including generating effective solutions and reporting. Students are challenged with exercises that accurately portray common workplace problems, including role-playing group activities in which they perform an actual ARCA™ case study.

Alhamdullillah HSP Academy mendapatkan kepercayaan dari PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priuk untuk melaksanakan training Apollo Root Cause Analysis untuk beberapa orang karyawan PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priuk. Training ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari pada tanggal 15 Maret 2016 bertempat di gedung baru PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Periuk. Training difasilitasi oleh instruktur Ahli dari Amerika Serikat, yaitu Fadi E Rahal yang juga merupakan president Apollonian Publication. Fadi E Rahal adalah certified dan experienced Intructor untuk problem solving, dia telah mentraining lebih dari 10,000,- (sepuluh ribu) peserta dari seluruh dunia. Disamping sebagai pengajar dia juga merupakan konsultan handal untuk problem solving, dan telah banyak membantu perusahaan besar di Amerika, Eropa dan Timur Tengah dalam mengatasi berbagai masalah sehinggan bisa meningkatkan pertumbuhan perusahaan dan penghematan secara lebih efektif.

Dalam training ini, Fadi E Rahal menjelaskan tentang methodology Apollo RCA dalam mencari akar permasalahan yang ada dalam perusahaan, baik itu berupa masalah SDM, keuangan, Produksi, operasi, kecelakaan kerja, dll. Peserta diberikan metodologi untuk memahami permasalahan atau kegagalan suatu proses secara ril atau berfokus pada fakta. Dalam suatu permasalahan selalu ada sebab dan akibat, untuk dapat menyelesaikan suatu persoalan atau kegagalan maka kita harus dapat memahami penyebabnya. Ada dua penyebab yaitu “Fact Cause dan Experienced Cause” yang selalu muncul dalam melakukan analisa root cause analysis. Seringkali peserta terjebak kedalam experienced cause dalam menentukan akar masalah dan melupakan Fact Cause, sehingga solusi yang dihasilkan dalam suatu proses RCA menjadi kurang efektif.

Rahal holds a Master of Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is a graduate of the Edison Engineering Program and obtained both Black Belt and Master BB certifications, as well as RCA Leader Qualification from General Electric. And most recently, he received Master Apollo RCA™ Instructor Certification – the only one ever awarded!
